On November 8, 2008, The Luzerne Foundation will host at the new Mohegan Sun a Texas Hold 'em fundraiser, "The Best Bet for Luzerne County." A minimum of three-hundred poker players traveling from as far away as Philadelphia and New York will participate in this charity event - all vying for great prizes - including the grand prize of a 2008 Harley-Davidson Softail Deluxe. This is The Luzerne Foundation's largest fundraising event, which benefits the Fund for Luzerne County. Money from this fund is reinvested back into local non-profit organizations and charitable causes.
The Luzerne Foundation exists to improve the lives of those living in our region. Have fun playing poker while making a difference here at home.
